When I was young, I was always thinking about what things I could be working on if I really wanted to make an impact in this world. I wasn't worried about money; I just wanted to do something useful.

It's not that I was always thinking about ideas; in fact, it was quite the opposite. I let life flow and did a bit of what everyone else was doing without even thinking about whether it was what I wanted to do.

But there was a day when I thought of doing something. It wasn't actually something that came to me in one day; I had been thinking about that idea for some time but had never had the courage to pursue it:

I was 15 years old
I had no money
I had no time; I was in high school in Spain
I had no idea about life
And I had countless excuses I would make up for myself

Today, I think about it and say, damn... I was so unbrave. I regret not having tried much earlier.

Until one day, I decided to give it a chance. I took a notebook and started staying in the school library during lunch and break time to work on the idea.

I would write down ideas, use the public computer in the library (which was the only thing accessible to me at that time), and start working on that idea.

Honestly, money was never a priority. I didn't intend to become a millionaire; I just wanted to develop an idea and see how far I could go. In fact, I spent the little money I had back then on that notebook and a pencil.

In the end, I think I abandoned the project because I couldn't manage my time well: I had classes, then English academy, soccer, and tennis. I didn't know where to find the time without driving myself crazy; I was a kid.

But I think, I was a kid with enthusiasm. I didn't achieve anything, but at least I had some dedication in that library and seriously progressed with that project.

I am proud of having tried.

Over time, I continued starting projects and always thinking of new ideas. I was the kind of person who, if you played Clash of Clans, for example, I would set up an organization to hold national tournaments. I was always thinking about things.

But for one reason or another, what I did never went well. I spent money on cool designs and didn't focus on what was truly important.

If I had to highlight something between 2022 and 2024, it’s the ability to focus that I've managed to develop, and above all, prioritization. Finally working on what is important.

It sounds a bit crazy, but you know yourself what it takes to achieve success in each project. The thing is, we zoom out and look at everything that needs to be done, and often we don't even know where to start.

It makes me very sad that due to laziness and excuses, we don't launch ourselves to do things.

Honestly, life is too short to always live it with regrets. Try and build everything that excites you. If at some point you thought it was a good idea, do it. The worst that can happen is that you've wasted your time, which you’ll turn into learning to know what not to do, so in the next project, you do it right, avoiding those mistakes.

And little by little, with the accumulation of mistakes, work, and consistency, that ideal project will come, and you will nail it because you’ll be a genius at dodging everything you’ve crashed into in the past.

Don't let good ideas end up as nothing; life is too short not to dare to do things.

I founded Koala this year, and now in September, I'll probably launch my second project (more on this very soon). This year has by far been the best for me professionally. Simply because it's been the year I’ve dared the most too.

Don't wait to validate an idea, and don't pay too much attention to those who tell you not to do it, that it's not a good idea. It's okay for them to warn you, but crash into it, because that's what it’s about.

Hey, and if you don't crash and it goes well? Oh yes, then everyone will say, “See, it was a good idea...”

Trust yourself, because if you don’t, who will?
