When you're starting your career as a professional designer or with your online business, there are several stages:

The starting phase
The working phase where nothing seems to work, and you're evaluating what’s happening
The working phase where it still isn’t working, but you keep going
When it starts working
When it stops working
✨ When you keep working because it worked once, and you have faith
When it explodes
When you keep working to keep it going and growing
And from this point on, it’s hard to fall again

Well, I find myself in one of these stages: Specifically, the one just before the explosion, ✨ where you keep working because it worked once, and you have faith.

Things don’t always turn out well repeatedly, and this is the stage I’m in. I’ve had good months (in fact, very good ones), but I’d say I’m in the phase known as “the process.”

The process is especially about this stage because, in reality, it doesn’t matter if it’s working or not; you just have to keep working.

It’s easy to keep going when things are working and to quit when they stop working.

For me, this is one of the best moments, where I’ve already seen my companies succeed, and now they're just going through quiet weeks where I need to keep moving forward and working.

When you achieve results, people often ask: "Hey, what do you think made it happen?"

Well, I truly believe it’s due to many months of work that no one sees, so that one day, it finally works.

You might have a video go viral, but in reality, one or two viral videos aren’t what truly matters in the whole process. It’s everything you organize and build around it.

In other words: To me, those months where everything just moves forward, where you’re setting up systems and creating structures, are much more important so that when things do work, you’re prepared.

When that moment of explosion comes, it’s easy for the balloon to deflate if you weren’t ready.

If you get into the habit of working and progressing on your product, whether it’s during a boom or in insignificant times, then when success arrives, nothing really changes because you were already doing the same thing.

This is the image you should keep in mind. The entire flat process is really what matters until you see the results.

I believe staying in that process is what’s truly important because, now looking at the chart, you can see there’s been growth, that something worked.

But when you're in that straight line, you never see that peak: no one knows if that peak will come or not. And for me, this is where the significance lies.

You don’t know if it will grow, but I will keep creating content until I see that curve rise.

And often, that curve may rise for two months and then level off again.

In the end, it’s the same thing; the curve doesn’t matter, you just have to keep pushing.

The only difference is, you’re more at peace because you’ve seen it work before, and you’ve had a small validation that what you did actually worked.

Keep pushing, no matter how your results look like.
